Clinical experience: 1 year full time as EMT-B (2020-2021), 6 months as Medical scribe (2021-current)
Research experience: 3 years undergraduate research in materials chemistry, 2 poster presentations during research and honors thesis, listed author on 1 publication
Shadowing experience: All from time as a medical scribe, some ER shadowing but not directly with a physician
Non-clinical volunteering:
-MedWish International (30 hrs) and local food pantry (20 hours). Will be continuing this through my time as a graduate student.
Other extracurricular activities:
-Graduate school student organization, member and president
-Undergraduate Pre-Med student organization, member and committee chair
-Club Volleyball player, member, exec board and team captain
-Saxophone player, played throughout college and into graduate school
-Participating/training for spartan races

Relevant honors or awards: Honors college grants for summer research, Chemistry department grants for research
Looking to get a sense of what kind of schools I should be shooting for. For now I have been mostly looking at GPA/MCAT averages and researching further from there. I will be applying both MD and DO this cycle
