Great job! Off the top, network with your schools and SNMA chapters/ANAMS before applying and make the schools want you.

Are you a tribe "registered member"? How comfortable/fluent are you in Spanish?

I would add New Mexico State. I'm not sure how much they would weigh in-state status over the diversity you would bring, but I would see if you would be a good fit with them. Native Americans are also a desired group for Sanford/University of South Dakota, but I'm not sure about the geography fitting what you want.

I would definitely look into NHSC or HPSP (maybe). If you haven't done so, join the IHS blog. Let me know if you want to be part of the Becoming a Student Doctor cohort.

Try to get 40 more in-person shadowing hours.

Illinois is very expensive for OOS students. I would not suggest it. You could apply to UA-Tucson as well if you meet the pre-reqs.
