- Hospital Volunteer: 500 hrs total at 3 different hospitals
- Patient Attendant (Paid): 600 hours at one hospital
Research experience:
- 4 Research experiences: 3 nonclinical and 1 clinical + nonclinical. 1 Abstract as First Author, 2 poster presentations
- Approx. 1,000 hrs total for all 4 experiences
Shadowing experience and specialties
- Shadowed a Dermatologist and a Psychiatrist for a total of 50 hrs
Non-clinical volunteering
- Student org Leadership position for 1 year volunteering in underserved communities distributing COVID kits (100 hrs)
- Community service at my local mosque for all 4 years (200 hrs)
- Total: 300 hrs

Also here is my running list so far... would love more school suggestions (hoping to apply to 27 schools)and recommendations if I should take any schools off. Would be interested in DO, but mostly have done research on MD schools so far... also would love thoughts on my chances of getting into these places! I am interested in schools that emphasize public health as I am planning on applying to an MD/MPH dual degree program. Thank you so much for any insight!
