Hi everyone! I wanted to apply next cycle and would love help with my school list. I currently only have California schools. There's a lot I don't know about OOS schools so I thought this would be a good starting point for now. I appreciate any advice on how to approach my gap years and my list. I am definitely going to apply to as many schools as possible and will not be keeping my list as just California.

cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS or AACOMAS

You could add these OOS MD schools:
Arizona (Phoenix)
Colorado
TCU
Creighton
St. Louis
Rosalind Franklin
Loyola
Medical College Wisconsin
Western Michigan
U Michigan
Oakland Beaumont
Miami
USF Morsani
Emory
Georgetown
George Washington
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Cincinnati
Case Western
Hofstra
Einstein
Mount Sinai
New York Medical College
Albany
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Dartmouth
Brown
Tufts
Boston University

You’re instate for UCSF and have a good research profile. Get off your hands and knees! You have an excellent profile and should be competitive at a lot of schools. Good luck!

You say Gap Year Plans. Focus on getting that done successfully. I'm not sure how much this helps you in your current application, which is already very good. Your appeal to UCSF and other California schools is strong. Do your homework on the PRIME programs.

Throwing in a random suggestion that is not based on your metrics: Tulane
