I'm curious how you chose your schools given your activities that address issues among East Asians. Some of the schools you listed may not have a significant Asian patient population when it comes to rotations AFAIK. Did you connect with APAMSA?

I chose these schools primarily based off of MCAT stats and some with a stronger entre focus. I haven't reached out to any APAMSA chapters, but would you recommend connecting with them to learn more about their school's Asian pt population? Thank you!

Remove OHSU since they admit few non residents with no connection to the state. You should receive several interviews from the other schools on your list.

It wouldn't hurt knowing the type of support you would have in understanding healthcare disparities among the Asian group as well as support structures and leadership/mentoring for Asian clinicians.

Agree with Goro. Perhaps Creighton and VCU would be worth an app too. If Goro’s additional suggestions would make your list too long, you could skip Brown and UMass.
