Hi all, I am looking for suggestions for schools I should add or subtract from my school list. I've been looking at it so long, it's hard to tell what should stay and what should go. Thank you in advance!

Research Experience: 600+ hrs over 1.5 years in microbiology lab

Physician Shadowing: 88 (48 for ED, 40 for oncologist)

You had too many state public schools on your list that admit few applicants with no connection to the state. Even Utah or OHSU are unlikely although since you are from an adjoining state you may have a chance.

Check whether the schools on your list have a strong rural health track if you are serious about rural health/primary care. Have you applied to NHSC or HPSP?

Make sure to get service oriented nonclinical experience before you apply.

I would apply to a few DO schools as well since you’re ORM and science gpa is in the 3.6ish. Maybe ICOM if you want to stay close to home and some higher ranked DO’s like KCU, Midwestern, Western CA and OR and Des Moines.
