    3. Community outreach during the pandemic in NYC. Led an effort to raise couple thousand $ which was used to create resource bags that included hygiene products, covid test kits, non-perishable food etc that was given out to people in the community

    1. Graduated in December 2022 and currently working as a Radiology Tech Aide on my gap year and will be getting a job as an EMT or MA soon.
    2. The beginning of my gap year got sort of delayed due to a cancer diagnosis in my family for which I have been responsible for coordinating treatments for all that jazz. Wrote about this in the Other Impactful Experience essay.

Interested in staying on the East Coast, but will literally go anywhere for a medical education. Geography is not an issue as long as its reasonable. Hoping to add some more schools to the list. NYC resident, attended a SUNY for one year before transferring to a school in Boston. Have family ties to VA as well.

Remove Geisinger, Rutgers and VTech since they admit few applicants with no connection to the state or region.
You could add these schools:
Vermont
Drexel
NOVA MD
TCU
Creighton
Rosalind Franklin
Medical College Wisconsin
Western Michigan
Oakland Beaumont

Thank you for the insight. Yeah Cornell is a donation, I agree but still plan to shoot my shot. Debating on DO schools at this point, really would like to avoid a reapp.
