For those that ignored the above warning, i had a quick and rather silly question. Are students allowed to have hot Plates (mini stoves) in their rooms at Columbia's Bard dorms. What about refrigirators and microwaves. I am the type of guy that loves to fix something up in the middle of the night and this is kind of a big deal to me. What other restrictions do students have should they decide to live in Bard? Thanks.. 😎

Hey man, I am just joking. I see you everyday and you havent told me about your decision to attend Columbia? Have you sealed the deal tho? I can't believe we are leaving Los Angeles to ....Hmmmm....hmmmm....

Seriously man, are we gonna have time in medical school to even think about fixing a hot meal?

When I lived there everything (hot plate, fridge, etc...) was illegal but most of us had all of the above and then some. Also, if the closet accross from the elivator is still unlocked you can tap into the main cable feeds for the building and run an illegal cable hook-up to your room.

I am always scared about doing "illegal stuff" I would not dare run an illegal cable hook-up. I guess I dont have big balls.

I live in Bard and I have a fridge and a microwave. I also know people who have toasters and coffee pots etc. Let me know if you have any other questions.
