Thought that I would pass this on:
A word of warning about MCAT scores on AMCAS:
...At the University of Washington School of Medicine we are finding that many of the applicants being rejected for lack of MCAT scores (and who are not signed up to take the August exam) have actually failed to release their scores. It appears that the default in the web application is to NOT release scores unless the applicant indicates that he/she wishes for them to be released. Apparently a lot of applicants are bypassing this question and inadvertently deleting their MCAT histories from their records...
