Wayne State University- Do they Renig on Acceptance?

I haven't posted here in a long time since I have been accepted to a few medical schools. Wayne State is my top choice, although I am afraid my acceptance could be withdrawn for the following reasons:

1.) My GPA has fallen, although not substantially. I received a 2.0 in one class last semester, although I 4.0ed all of my other courses. I have never received a grade this low on my transcript, ever.

2.) Anatomy is kicking my a*s this semester- hopefully I will be able to do well. If not, I may pull a 3.0 in this course.

WIll these two grades keep me from getting in? I know that this may seem like a stupid question to some people, but does Wayne renig on acceptances??!?!? Have you known of any cases where this has happened? Do I have reason to be concerned? Please let me know

Whatever happened to listing your grades as letters - what's all this "I may pull a 3.0 in this course" business? Letters, man. Letters. Save the numbers for calculating actual semester GPAs.

Anyway, I know nothing about WSU, but as long as your overall term GPA isn't below a 2, you should be fine.

I would definitely take a W in all those courses. Also, you should look at some of your off shore options, but honestly you may not have the grades to make it there.

don't recall ever hearing of that happening. but there are probably some circumstances where they might... see fun8stuff's comment.

as for that 2.0, I think I had something in that neighborhood on my transcript and still managed to sneak in while the ad com was distracted.
