Please join us Wednesday, May 21, 7-8pm EDT for a webinar jointly hosted by the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) and the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM). The webinar is presented by the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) on the topic of: “Nutrition—Applying the Dietary Guidelines to Patient Care.” Amber L. Mosher, MPH, RD (Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) and David Wu, MD, MS (University of Maryland, Preventive Medicine Residency program) will provide an overview of the history, purpose, and development of the Dietary Guidelines, as well as applications to patient care.
