I've heard of website that tell you where to apply out-of-state based on your numbers and EC's.

Can you guys post the adresses.

Are they good, do they work, or do they use "old numbers" and thus are outdated.

Thank You

well, studentdoc.com has a med school calculator that tells you your chances at schools based simply on mcat and gpa, but i'm wary since there is so much that goes into the equation.

Yeah don't base your decision on the med school calculator.

I agree - med schools don't tend to go by straight numerical stats. Thus these calculators often will tell you you are competitive at places that don't have any interest in you, and/or not to apply to places that might actually be excited about your non-numeric credentials.

Oh, I'm competetive to very competetive almost everywhere. Bull****.
