I'm a 3rd year, planning a wedding (from veeeeeery far away from home) for 6 months before I graduate. Anyone else in the same boat?

I got married in Dec, but I didn't do much of the planning.

I'm doing the same, although at least in the same city. My unsolicited advice: be decisive! no need to go look at a twenty dresses, twelve reception sites, etc! 🙂 good luck.

yes yes! be decisive. i picked out everything really quickly, and although it will not be perfect, i am much less stressed out as a result 🙂.

I am also planning a Dec. wedding during my senior year in 2005 so I have time. My date is dec 30!!

I'm getting married in June next year, about 2 wks after graduation. Mine is also in a different city than where I live. I'm sure it'll be hectic, having to (probably) move to a new city and get ready for internship that month as well, but it'll also be exciting!

Congrats to everyone, BTW. Don't let wedding planning stress you out... you have enough to worry about. 😉

a friend of mine is getting married this june after he graduates and before he starts his residency.

friends here at school with me are getting married in the time after we finish our 4th semester (end of MS2) and before we start our clinical introduction course.
We go to Ross so things are a little different. But basically getting hitched during a 4 week break we'll be having then.

I'm not exactly in the same boat (I planned my wedding while working FT and studying for the MCAT--thank God for my mom), but I have friends in said boat. Good luck!

thank you! my parents live where the wedding will be, so that makes it much easier. my mom has also helped out a lot with the planning. when are you getting married?
