It sounds to me like they're ready to do another cut and they need more information to do so. Keep sending them updates.

Call them up tomorrow and ask... As far as I know ( 😉 ) your update letters pretty much covered what you are currently doing, so I do not know why they want this information... Definitely call!

i already sent them a reply email (not like it could hurt) just listing what i've done since then til now, but I will also call, with the following conversation:

GW: George Washington University School of Medicine
me: Yo, what up with this email.
GW: Is this Jones, Caterpillar Jones?
me: The one and only
GW: We are so sorry Mr. Jones. We have already accepted you. That email was meant for another applicant.
me: Don't ever let that happen again
GW: Please, Mr. Jones. We did not mean it.
me: It's Future Doctor Jones to you.

they may have not received my update letters yet since I called evms and they said they don't have it yet....so since GW has more mail to go through, I'm sure they'll take longer to see it.

They sent me an e-mail post-interview asking for a picture. I thought I sent one in with the secondary, but when I called they told me to just sent in another one.

I think the e-mail came right before they sent me their decision. You haven't heard back from them already, have you CP? They probably just need to have everything complete (I realize that you, like I was, were probably already under the impression that your application had been complete for some time) before they can make a decision.

I just gave them a call now, and they said that the admissions committee just wants to make sure everything is complete. I guess they especially wanted to make sure I had all my updates in due to my graduation. I do hope this is all good news. I love you, GW!
