Weird question about MD/MBA

If you are in the MD/MBA program, complete the year of MBA between 2nd and 3rd year, and say you were to quit medical school, would you still have the MBA as a degree or are there things to do 3rd and 4th year for it? I know it's a weird question, but it just popped into my head.
