Weird Virginia Commonwealth Phone Call

Hi,

This is the first time that I have posted a thread. I got a really weird phone call from Virginia Commonwealth today. The woman asked me if I could have a professor resend his letter through fax and also through mail because they had the letter in their system, but not in my file (I had three professors send individual letters). When I asked her more questions, she said that they had already filled all their interview dates, but still wanted him to send the letter. Isn't that so weird? I have already gotten in to two schools, so I just withdrew my app because I am not that interested in the school. Any thoughts on why they would still want it if they have already filled all interview dates?
