HI..
I called WES for my evaluation and they told me I have to get the marksheets signed by the controller of examination and get it sealed and signed on an envelope.but the problem is I dont have them in the envelope.but I have the official transcripts in the sealed envelope.can I send them those.
plz..reply...I ama dentist from india..

I see no reason why not... best would be to call them and ask or otherwise just send it to them.
if they dont think its acceptable they wiull let u know.

I have done my transcripts evaluated by WES in last december 2004.At that time i have sent them only the copies of my transcripts &they have accepted them.I don't know why they are asking you all these stuff.

i WAS JUST WORRIED CAUSE OF MY LOW gpa THRU ece THAT IS 2.97.DO U THINK THE gpa WOULD BE A LIL' HIGHER BY NOW.

I called up the WES office in Washington D.C.the lady told me that they would only accept the marksheets.but guess I would send them the transcripts which are sealed.in worst scenario thet will send it back if they dont accept it..

through wes i got my gpa increased by 0.50 .I think even your gpa will increase reasonably.

I faced the same situation. I was hoping to have credentials evaluated by wes but they said that they need to receive original ones ina selaed envelope.I do not have those & getting them will be tedious from india.

Dentist3 , did u not face a similar dilemma. What did u send them?\Will appreciate any input from your experience.Thanks,

Hi there...

Those who have sealed transcripts...nothing like it. Send them a "Notarized copy " of your marksheets + your sealed transcripts.. and all will be fine.

For those who dont have official transcripts.... take copies of your marksheets with the originals to a US Notary service...let the Notary verify and notarize(so called attest them) your copies of marksheets. Carry envelopes as well. Seal them in Envelopes and have the notary sign and stamp the envelope also. Thus finally send Notarized copies of your marksheets.

They will accept only a US notary stamp. You can find a Notary service at a local university / School around your house.

as UAB dentist mentioned,that if u dont have the selaed matksheets or transcripts then u can send them the notarised marksheets and then get them sealed in the envelope and get a stamp on it too.u can find a notary at a chevy chase bank or any other bank u have ur account ..

Hi,
I called the wes a month back and they insisted to send the mark-sheets in sealed envelope signed by the controller of examinations. When I explained that I have 2 degrees from 2 different universities, they keep insisting the same thing. I trying to get the mark-sheets in sealed envelope and it is a tough and time-taking process.

I just got my diploma evaluated by WES. It took them 1 month to do so. Keep in mind that there is no connection between customer service and the people who do the evaluation. I called 4 times and they drove me nuts. From expirience...customer service have no idea what kind of documents WES needs.

I am not a dentist, so I cannot answer this question. I evaluated my diploma (I have BS and MS in Chemical Engineering). Regarding the diploma, I sent my original diploma to them and later they contacted my school (because my university policy is that they don't send anything to anywhere). WES knows this, but the customer service does not.
