I was just wondering if anyone had RECENT transfer stats for west coast schools. I found the post copied below) in another thread, but those stats are from 2003. I was just wondering if, for instance, USC took fewer transfers in the last couple years.
I also wanted to know about other West Coast schools' (e.g. Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington) policies. And when (e.g. late first year, early second year, middle second year) is the best time to start poking around and investigating this stuff with the deans at the respective schools? I think it's too premature for me to ask now, because I just got accepted and there's a good chance I'm going to LOVE the school I'm accepted at.. but certain family/marital realities are prompting me to at least think about it/browse the forums for answers now..
Of course it goes without saying that to transfer my stats would have to be hella high, I'd have to have a compelling reason (e.g. a fiancee in Cali) and I'd have to take Step I early and score well.
Thank you so much for any input.
