it's not going to be as late as previously. I think people on premed101 are saying late june / early july, but the top 15 candidates will be notified in mid-May as early acceptances.

Screw UWO. I got waitlisted for an interview- which is fine. Obviously my application wasn't up to their standards. But their application procedure is so simplistic and I guarantee they are missing out on good candidates. All they do is look for RC scores higher than 18 (I had 22) and then take the average of the best two years. No personal statement, no LOR (although LOR's are stupid IMO), no extracurricular importance.

The worst part is that once you're on the waitlist, you aren't allowed to know where you stand on that list. I imagine it's like that at most places, but it's so stupid. What if you have alternate arrangements to make?

Just wanted to rant.

I'm pretty sure you if you weren't called for an interview on April 4/5, you will never be called for an interview. The waitlist was for interviewing that weekend. The chance is now gone. but you got into Boston, so be happy!

Oh of course I'm happy to go to Boston, but for financial reasons I would have gone to UWO had I got in. (I know, I know, some people would kill to be in my position, I understand that) It's just frustrating not knowing where I stood on the waitlist. The point I was trying to make was that they should tell you where you are on the waitlist.
