Hey Guys!

I graduated in May 2010 from the University of New Hampshire with a 3.7 GPA. I am taking the OAT on Dec 22. I sent in my Optomcas a little over two weeks ago and just finished filling out the supplemental apps today. I have a lot of extracurricular activities and I shadowed one optometrist on and off for a year and a half and i worked in a five doctor optometrist practice for two summers. What are my chances of getting in to school? Did I wait to long to apply? and how well do i have to do on the OAT? Any feedback would be really helpful! Thanks!

Depends on what your OAT scores are, and which schools you are applying to.

I have a relative that has applied, and was accepted to ICO for next year, and had a similar GPA and an overall OAT score of 320. He never told me his individual scores.

I think you have a really good shot of being accepted if you have a good OAT score. You don't want your 3.7 sitting next to a less than average OAT score.
