GPA: 4.0
MCAT: 510
CH/PHYS: 125
CARS: 128
BIO: 130
PSYCH/SOC: 127

I have solid extracurriculars, including shadowing experience and working abroad as a first-responder. Just concerned that most of the schools I want to apply to will see my low CH/PHYS score and weed me out. Listed the schools below.

You should add Eastern Virginia, Virginia Tech and U Virginia to your list.

Thank you for your input! Do you think it is worth applying to U Virginia considering my low MCAT score compared to their median scores (based off their website and MSAR).

I have a feeling UVA is a reach...at their school visit day, the Admissions Dean hinted very much at the fact that they tend to II in-staters with at least a 33-34 or 514 score. For OOS, they expect 517 I believe. 510 isn't a bad score, but that C/P is low and could keep you out from UVA.

U Virginia is a reach but your chances are better there than at UNC, Maryland, South Carolina and UCLA since the latter schools accept very few non residents with your MCAT.
