What are my chances for AOA general surgery?

Hey guys, I'm an OMS-3 and I'm looking to do AOA general surgery. I'd be willing to match anywhere.

Stats:
3.7 GPA (top 25% of class)
546 COMLEX (ugh...)

others: research award with oral presentation, will have great letters of rec, very good well rounded application (president of a club on campus, volunteer work, etc), likable personality.

Yeah, there is a deadline when every program will have to be merged. Not sure when that deadline is.

I’m no expert, but I would expect it to be completed by the time one finished a GS residency. The number one question one needs to have for any AOA program is what plans they have for the merger and have thy started the pocess
