Hi guys,

3.0 cGPA 3.1sGPA from my undergrad

3.94 GPA from SMP masters program

26 MCAT, (11PS 10BS 5VB)

Lots of ECs: 4years fulltime clinical research coordinator, 1.5 years medical translator, >100hrs shadowing, strong leadership positions.

How are my chances for MD or DO?
Any comments will be appreciated.

I think you are a foot-in for DO, except for schools that require 6+ on every section of the MCAT.

For MD, you need to retake the MCAT.

Great job on the smp. Where did you do it?

DO- reasonable.
MD- Hail Mary.

+1

Yes, there have been people accepted with a 25 MCAT. <0.5%, However, with a 5 in verbal, that will derail all your chances at MD schools. I'm sorry, but the only way I see is to retake the MCAT. Don't give up though! You are smart and you can do it. Look at the MCAT forum for extra help!!
