It would be helpful to your chances if you could retake the MCAT and score 500 or higher but do not retake unless your practice scores are consistently above 500. With your current MCAT your chances for a MD acceptance are approximately 50% but if your MCAT score was 502 they would increase to 75%. With your current stats you could apply next June and could receive interviews at these schools:

You are competitive for some DO schools and consider all these if you decide to apply to DO schools. For DO schools you could apply this year in the next 2 week and submit all your secondaries by late September. Some schools require a DO LOR.
