Physician Shadowing: 20 hours shadowing 1 Anesthesiologist (June to Sept 2016)

Non-Clinical Volunteering: Environmental Cleanup (30 hours), holiday party for underprivileged kids, community service chair of fraternity where I organized many other philanthropic events

ECs: Fraternity Academic and Community Service Chair (left in 2016)

Employment History:Clerical Worker; Got a promotion to IRB Coordinator for University (left in 2016)

Specialty of Interest: Undecided

Intrest in Rural Health: No

I also have an institutional action on my record for marijuana early into my sophomore year but nothing is on my criminal record. Was able to explain it well in essays I think. Thoughts on how big of a deal this will be?

Ive gotten an II from WVU for January but I have gotten no other rejections/II

I know I have weak ECs but I am hoping my GPA/MCAT can make up for it. I really wanted to get some more under my belt this gap year but Ive sorta had a family emergency that had me preoccupied for a while. I just submitted half of my secondaries today and will submit the other half tomorrow or the day after. I think I applied to a good spread of school. Someone tell me its going to be okay haha

Good list, but the money spent on apps sent to OSU, Wisconsin, Kentucky, and Louisville would have been better spent to take out your loved ones to dinner. Surprised you got an II from WVU, guess being a Maryland resident is good enough for WV.

Getting an II from Maryland Med is gonna be tough, given the fact that the state of Maryland has a lot of good applicants, but your numbers and ECs are well within range.
