Hello everyone,

I would appreciate everyone's feedback with my following thread by creating a list of medical schools that I have chances with.

State resident:
Wisconsin

Ethniticty:
Russian

Stats:
cGPA: 3.3 (with upward trends), sGPA 3.2 ( with upward trends)

MCAT:
522

Extracurricular activities:
-MDA summer camp volunteer (290 hours)
-Elementary school volunteer (50 hours)
-Hospital volunteer (100 hours)
-Run free clinic volunteer (50 hours)
-pre med club (8 semesters)
-National Society of Leadership and Success (2 semesters)
-Biology club (2 semesters)
-Family medicine shadowing (50 hours)
-Psychiatry shadowing (10 hours)
-Pediatrics shadowing (10 hours)
-Surgery shadowing (10 hours)

Unique life experiences:

-Was a Russian orphan for about 6-7 years, until I got adopted by American Parents ( May or not help with admissions). This past experience has definitely influenced and developed me in so many ways. The orphanage was located in Siberia-middle of no where;) if anyone was wondering?

Last note:
Throughout my undergraduate years, I started with a very low GPA, and latter received better grades. Therefore, I had strong grade trends during my 3rd and 4th year of college. Additionally, I am not really interested in osteopathic medical schools, plus I have never shadowed a osteopathic doctor. You can also give me a D.O school list only if you wish to.

Planning on applying to my 2 state medical schools.
NOT interested in SMP or any other master programs to raise GPA.

Thank you!

Thank you for the list! Can I also try University of Michigan, and Pritzker School of Medicine?

You can try those schools. Any top tier school will like your MCAT score but your GPA not so much.
