Majoring in: Biology with a concentration in pre-health/physiology
Currently a Junior: first semester
Applying for med school entry class Fall 2020
Mcat: working on it, probs ain't gonna do well
Current GPA: 3.4, This and next semester: 4.0
This and next semester, a trend of 4.0 GPA will be present for this and next semester

>200 hours shadowing (Cardiology, ENT, Internal Medicine)
>200 hours volunteering (Food bank, church, judge for a debate, BCM 5K Run, project cure, food pantry, much more)
Served on Student Government Association (for one year)
Started an organization on campus (65 current active members)
Published abstract for a research project and doing more research for next semester
Not to brag, but well known on campus due to involvement

Any clinical experience(different than shadowing)? This means direct contact with patients.

We really can’t tell you anything until you have your MCAT score. But don’t take it until you are consistently scoring at or above your target goal. When you have the score come back and lots of people will help you out.
FYI: your GPA is below the average of matriculates students(3.7) so spend some time researching DO schools. Good luck on the MCAT.
