I'd be surprised if you didn't get scholarship offers. Congratulations, you'll be attending dental school soon.

250 hours of shadowing is enough, my only concern is that the majority is in general (+/-100 hours).

Write a good personal statement and practice your interviews and you have nothing to worry about.

Thank you for your comment. I have been super paranoid about my 18s and I am so close to taking it again to try to improve them, but I am also scared of getting a lower score. I am actually mostly worried about my RC being 18, and was thinking if it may hold me back? My most shadowing was actually with the orthodontist but general follows right behind. I think I did over do the shadowing, though, but thats because I thought that I needed the most hours. Most of these were acquired in the spring/summer while sharing schedule with my classes.

Is there anything I should do to improve my chances in places that are in my state?

Thank you again!

18 is not a bad score...

I didn't mention your 18 RC because while it's not great, your science scores and GPA make up for it. Obviously you are able to read with sufficient compression otherwise you wouldn't be able to score that well in the sciences.

I would suggest shadowing a general dentist more until you have about 10 more hours in general than any other. If the majority of your hours are with a specialist it is not as favorable.

Thank you so much, I will take your suggestion moving forward until I apply. Thank you for all your help! And for putting my mind in ease about retaking it only to bump up my RC score.
