I'll be applying to several DO programs. I take the MCAT this August so I'm behind on applications. And my GPA is only 3.22 with my practice MCAT exams in the mid 20s. What I do have is good work-related experience ..like working in an ER as a clinical assistant and in the past, worked as a research assistant for a new rehabilitative program and managed to get one paper published.
I researched some DO schools and saw that most have an acceptance MCAT score around the mid 20s. Hopefully, I'll score higher this August.
Anyone here get into a DO school with a similar situation as mine? (low GPA, mid MCAT score)
Also, in terms of finding a job after graduation from DO school and given the slight prejudice, do DOs have a harder time finding a job?
