What are some current events or issues that I should know for interviews?

I have heard that you might be asked questions about current issues during a interview. Unfortunately, I don't read the news that often. What are some current events or issues that I should know for interviews.

You don't NEED to know them. But you can impress them by your knowledge of dental therapists and to some extent the threat of dental chains, poor access to care and inadequate medicare/medicaid reimbursement. I wouldn't worry about the technical science stuff too much because the evidence in dentistry has always been iffy.
