It's been a few years since college, but I believe Freshman Composition l/ll are the only reading classes I took.

To Sell is Human (maybe not philosophical, but psychology)
The How of Creativity

Don't read many religious books but the first is big on history anecdotes, as well as strategy. Hopefully you enjoy the other two as well!
