What are some good medical school resources to use for first and second year?

I want to force myself out of the habit of staring at endless slides and use books and sites to help my studying. I will use a combo of the following

First Aid 2017
FA Organ Systems
FA Basic Sciences
BRS series
Rapid Review Series
Pathoma

Picmonic, Sketchy Micro, Dr. Najeeb, Boards and Beyond

Ofcourse I wount use this for every single subject, I'll mix it up, but I will annotate my First Aid as I go along in my cirriculum, that and Ill annotate my FA Organ System book.

FA is useful once you have a good understanding of the topic - remember, it is a review resource rather than a teaching resource. What is in FA is probably going to be a little more superficial than what you'll be asked on your course exams.

Big recommendation for Pathoma and particularly sketchy (micro is HUGE on COMLEX so getting a good understanding that you can quickly recall is key). Goljan is good to listen to in the car and stuff too. If you struggle with physiology, Physeo is a great option and BRS physiology was fantastic if you're looking strictly for books.
