I'm looking for some feedback on AOA traditional rotating internships. It's so difficult to find out the inside scoop on these programs. Anyone have information on the less malignant programs or one's to STAY AWAY FROM? I am looking for a program that offers good teaching, in-house sr. resident supervision when on-call, reasonable call schedule, nice PD that is resident advocate etc. Obviously we're all probably looking for these things, huh? I'm not too particular on location as I am on finding a really good program.

I am actually currently in the midst of an internship program that I am miserable at and am thinking about maybe taking a month or two off and transfering to a different program.

Any programs that you know of that would take me on at this late date?

:(

For the NE you cannot go wrong w/ Lehigh Valley. The TRI is overseen by the dept. of Medicine. The associate program director is nationally recognized as a leader in hospitalist medicine..
