They're an assessment of how much each course contributes to your GPA. You take your AADSAS grade (a number which is converted from your letter grade) multiplied by the semester hours for that course, and it yields the Quality Points that it's worth. Add up all of your quality points, divide by total number of semester hours, and there's your AADSAS GPA.
