I have examkrackers 101 passages for verbal; I know the section is slightly different now, but can I still use this book to practice for CARS?

Get your hands on all the AAMC CARS material (OG, Practice test, Q packs). EK 101 is decent practice, but do not do any of the nat. sci passages as they have been removed from the new MCAT. Good luck!

I really like the TPR CARs book. I've been doing end of the chapter passages to freshen up on techniques on answer certain questions. Playing around with a new strategy on them and it's paying off.

I usually do 2 passages a night. This is a MUST. If you can't find passages or are not near it during the day, read something online.

Examples of what to read:
New York Times op eds. Try to feel out the author's tone/theme.
New Yorker- anything on it is great honestly.
Grantland- if you are into sports, the stories here are as long as New Yorker.
