What books can help me to build a medical foundation? (I freak out 24/7 in a european med school)

Hello!

I will finish medical school in 4 years and 2 already passed.

I freak out 24/7 in med school along with teachers and I don't learn anything useful for my career.

For learning useful/practical/needed concepts for a future doctor , what advice would you give me ?
Reading specific books?
Taking step 1 and step 2 ? ( few people told me that step 1+2 required knowledge are not that useful for medical practice, what do you think? )
Just wait for residency cuz there is enough time then learn what I need to know as a future doctor?
