Hello everyone, I am applying this cycle, and I am still struggling which schools I should apply to. My stats are:
overall GPA: 3.7, sGPA: 3.7, BCP: 3.69 (took most of my pre-reqs in CC, but upper div courses in 4 year university. have about ~60 units for the pre reqs).
DAT: 25AA, 27TS, 30PAT (but I have 18 in RC).
EC: ~80 hours of volunteering, ~150 hours of shadowing, ~1300hours of employment in different places.

I am planning to apply to:
Midwestern University (AZ)
Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry
University of California, Los Angeles
UCSF
University of the Pacific
Western University
Nova Southeastern University
Harvard University
University of Detroit Mercy
University of Michigan
Rutgers
University of Nevada, Las Vegas
Columbia University
Touro- New York Medical College
Case Western Reserve university
University of Buffalo
Upenn
University of Pittsburgh.

I want to apply to 20 schools. Does anyone have advice for different schools/or the schools that I am planning to apply to?
My EC is not that good, I don't have much activities that I have done (no pre-dental club, no leadership...). I need real advice, thank you in advance!

have you researched which schools cap your CC credits and which ones don't take CC prereqs?

yes I have. I took those one out, and chose the schools that allow the credits. I am concerned with my RC score and having so little activities. I am applying to some schools that favors people with leadership like UOP (which I don't have...) or schools that like community service (I only have 80 hours which makes me nervous). I wanted to hear more advice of different schools !

18 in RC is still good

UOP likes high DATs, so you are good there

continue your volunteering and do a summer update...

what is your state of residence and are you URM?

My state of residence is California, and I am not URM. Do you recommend any other schools?

can I ask why NOVA should be removed?
Also, for the other schools, do you think it is still good to apply if OOS acceptance rate is relatively high? Thank you!

do a search on this forum for issues with nova southeastern...

yes, you can apply to those schools if the have a decent OOS acceptance rate
but i do not understand why you want to apply to 20 schools with such a ridiculously high DAT score and a pretty good GPA...

Dude, you have wonderful stats. If I were you, I'd remove all the expensive private schools on your list like USC, Columbia, Penn, and Midwestern.
