In the words of Voltaire, how wise would you have been to learn from the experiences of others? What did you wish you knew before you applied the first time? What would you have done differently? Lets share our experiences and lessons learned!
...how much money the applications alone would cost
....to get a hold of schools for transcripts EARLY because there is bound to be some sort of annoying delay
...to give professors strict deadlines for LORs
...wish I wouldn't have waited a year after graduation doing whatever I was doing, (wasting time??)
...think about what you really want and don't let anyone stand in your way, if they're trying to stop you or hold you back maybe they aren't right for you
* Apply earlier (in the first two weeks of June) and finish ALL secondaries by end of July/mid-August
* Spend less time on PS, more time on Works and Activities section
* Apply to more top schools just for the heck of it
* Spend more time with my application before an interview
* Call the Admissions office if an application is taking over a month to verify (better safe than sorry)
* Only applying to schools I would consider attending
