What do neuro residencies look for when u apply?

what type of things do neuro programs look for when looking at new docs trying to match? for ex, step1, gpa, type of undergrad degree vs other, mcat, etc?

You'll find this: http://www.nrmp.org/data/chartingoutcomes2009v3.pdf very helpful. It lists the information you're interested for all specialties, not just Neurology.

And as far as I know, no one cares much about undergrad unless you did something fantastic or got yourself arrested. And MCAT scores stopped mattering when you hit the med school doors.
 
A passion and dedication for neurology is also a prerequisite.
