Any thoughts? Do I have the sufficient amount of clinical experience required? Should I job-shadow a doctor as well?

What do you think of my EC's? How could I strengthen them?


-I am the president and founder of two community service organizations, (involving HIV/AIDS activism in the inner city.)

-work as an EMT.


-volunteered at an AIDS hospice in India and visited various brothels with an NGOs in order to empower women and educate about safe sex.


-helped develop a AIDS/HIV peer education program in collaboration with UNICEF in Kenya.


-doing research in the biological sciences that may result in a publication. (Oncogenes and process of phosphorylation in possibly generating cells that cause cancer.)


-Safe Sex HIV/AIDS peer educator in the inner city


-research in health and health policy (Sociology-based) and applying for a grant to go to a village in Thailand to do field research.

You should become like pittmedicinejr just you focus on grades and ec on what you need to get in compared to mcat (which I'm sure at somepoint you will post if your mcat is good enough even if it is a 30+).

Seriously look back at all those you started. All about what do to get in. Really its sad that you feel you need to x,y,z and ask others if it looks good and then think ok adcoms like it so I like it.
