I hope some of you are activists...

This was listed on the American Acadamy of Nurse Practitioner website...an attempt to legislate the following:
"NEEDED

Legislation that assures the utilization and reimbursement of nurse practitioners as primary care providers in state Medicaid programs. "

THE KEY BEING PRIMARY CARE PROVIDERS.

DO YOU THINK NURSE PRACTITIONERS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED PCP's WITH RESIDENCY TRAINED, MEDICAL SCHOOL GRADUATE, BOARD LICENSED PHYSICIANS?

ARE THEY THE SAME THING?

IS THIS AN ATTEMPT TO MOVE PAST THE "Mid Level Provider" STATUS?

I hope some of you take action.
