I seriuosly have no idea what type of clothes to bring to my second look weekends. Is it casual(like jeans) or business casual (like skirts and black pants) or even more formal. I know it sounds silly but I really don't want to show up in the completely wrong attire <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

Who cares- it's not like they can reject you now  Just have fun i guess. --Trek

i think business casual is pretty safe. i've heard that some schools ask you to dress nicely because they take you through the hospital (and sometimes into patient wards). i don't think you need to wear a suit or anything. you can always call the school and ask....have fun. :)

Has anyone come back from one of these things? What did people wear?

I just got back from Duke- it was very casual- most people wore jeans or khackies.

I would dress business casual to be on the safe side :)

I agree with the above comments. . . if you're comfortable w/ it, go for business casual. I attended the revisit at NYU a few months ago, and most people were dressed nicely. . . black dress slacks and a blouse or nice sweater set, etc. I wore a suede shirt-dress and flats.

Hope this helps! :)

I just got back from one - I wore a suit, but that is because I like wearing suits. Most people were dressed business casual (some much more casual than others, but I don't remember any jeans). If the school tells you that you might be seeing patients, don't go too casual.

The Hopkins revisit weekend was pretty casual. I wore a button down shirt and khakis both days (business casual), and was probably more dressed up then most people.

A few guys arrived wearing jackets and ties, but took them off fairly quickly.
:)

Find out what they have planned...the first day was slightly more formal, panels and such...there were faculty members around and jeans wouldn't have been the best choice. The second day we went on a bus tour and a baseball game...totally casual day.

Probably other schools are similar, wear what's appropriate for the plans!
