What does the filing date mean on the MSAR? For example, if the latest filing date is october 15 for primary applications, does that mean that by that date the school should have the primary or is that the latest date when we can indicate on the AMCAS to send our primary to that school?
Also, since I took the August 19 MCAT, I am waiting to see my scores to send the primary application to some schools. If the latest filing date for primary is november 1st, do you think they'll receive my primary by that time if I send it to them right after seeing my scores which come out around oct. 14?

i'm pretty sure that means the last day to submit the AMCAS (or indicate on AMCAS that you want it sent to a school). otherwise, you'd have to submit it in september to make sure that it's verified by the filing deadlines, which isn't realistic. they set up the deadlines so people can see their mcat scores and then decide whether or not to submit.
