It seems like if I know the subject my scores are high if I need to study more my scores are low... Other than pointing out weaknesses what good is it doing? Seems like if you just study all the subjects hard you will know your stuff and do well. ... Comments?

your absolutely right it does point out your weak areas but it also serves to give you reinforcement and so you can get a feel for how the real test hopefully works. plus its a good learning tool..

Q-Bank, in addition to the benefits you measured above, is the closest thing you'll ever see resembling the "Real Thing, USMLE", with the possible exception of the 150 released items.

Or the BSSA forms A and B, worth every penny IMHO
