check it out,

my undergraduate education was in engineering. After i got my BS, i took some classes at a local community college and got an overall 3.13 GPA in the dental pre-reqs. Is this the GPA that schools are going to look at? or are they gonna look at my awful awful undergrad GPA combined?

thanks in advance! 😱

if i recall correctly ur taking your dats on sept. 15th right? i'd probably give this forum a rest for the next few weeks and do a solid 6-7 hours a day (at least) of prep studying. of course, the schools are interested in all the undergrad work you have completed during the course of your career. improvements will be noted though and tip the scales in your favor. just work on getting an AA of 20+..that will give you your shot. make sure your PAT doesnt fall below 17 either. good luck bro

oh and if you havnt practised on full length dats with the time limits enforced definitely do that asap! (topscore or some kaplan tests)

thanks pbure! Yeah I am taking my DAT on the 15th! I guess you are right. It's no use worrying about it now! Well, I guess i am gonna vanish for a while, even though I've been hammering the study materials for 8-10hours a day! talk to you all later!
