Should I? This could be fun for me.

you should, this is like watching america's funniest home video

SNS, I have to say that your claims sound pretty dubious. However, assuming for one moment that I believe everything you claim to be, I can understand why, for all that you've been through to get where you are, you are unabashedly proud of your accomplishments and rightly so. But anyone can see, you need a lot of work. I've got news for you: Your accomplishments thus far probably make up only 30 or 40% of your person. Why don't you take all that energy, determination, perfectionism and intelligence(which hopefully includes insightfulness) and make a good, decent human being out of the rest of you.

Good Luck.

if i didnt have such a hot bf that i was totallyinto i would just reallty ask uyou out

jm posts drun kagain

You have gullible written underneath your mouse.

MADE YOU LOOK! hahahhaha

I cant believe how naive and gullible the people on this thread are. 😕 🙄

Also, a 3.98/38 MCAT is plausible, a 45 and the rags to riches BS story he concocts are complete BS (its definitely possible to get a 45), and if you cant detect that, you need to start working on lie detection so you dont get taken advantage of in real life. If you believe Squat is for real, you have some serious issues. Just try not to be troll bait in real life, because that would just be tragic. ]🙁

i dont think that it is impossible for someone to have his stats
chances are 1 in like a million
but hey
that doesn't mean that no one ever wins the lottery

unless i see proof that he is lying
i will assume that he is telling the truth

and if he is lying - he is the pitiful one
no one else will lose anything from it
so who cares

i knew people at my school who graduated with crazy high numbers
for example, like 3.98 and 38 MCAT
this person actually had a life
so why is it impossible for a person who pretty much does nothing but study to pull off a 4.0 at an ivy (where grades are inflated and average is B) and get a 45

i guess one way to prove whether he is right or wrong
would be to see if there are any students who get perfect scores on mcat
i believe that anyone who can pull off a 45 MCAT can pull off a 4.0 GPA...

woowee.

Looks like Mr Squat found some spare time to post on this board again.

Hey squat! Please post your picture. I want to see what you look like so that I can find you and be your friend.

err wait. I'll be your colleague for now, and then I'll be your friend after you become the chief neurosurgeon at Harvard.

I retook the MCAT last april, and I got a 44S. I have an interview coming up at UCSF. I know I will get in. I hope we both can go to SF together.

Am I cool enough for you?

but you're still up early. IMPRESSIVE! 😉 😀

If the scores you are telling us is true, congratulations on stellar, solid scores. It seems you have attained the "American Dream". Working your ass off and persevering is a good trait in a doc. Keep up the good work.

Dramaqueen there are many ways to volunteer in another country. I actually went to South Africa as part of a research project on HIV. Initially all the expenses were to be paid by me. I put a request in the university for the project and they gave me 2,500 $. While doing that i researched a few organizations that help students with research or volunteering in disadvantaged countries. One org awarded me about 750$. The cost of the entire summer came about to about 4,000$ (the airfare to SA was about 1,300 $ grrrrrr) out of which 3250$ were already covered .

While being there i met quite a few American students doing research or volunteering on their own - with their own money but all of them seemed to have received assistanships from either the university they attended or some organization.

As for high MCATs : I think a 45 can be done but it's also a matter of luck.

As for SNS : I find him amazing 🙂 . It is very entertaining to see how many people fall for the troll bait 🙂

So Squat N Squeeze...

Having posted numerous bits of information about yourself (information SO stellar that it truly is a unique and rare student who can boast of it)...

you ARE aware that members of adcoms across the country peruse this site frequently?

haha. I would hope so. This would be his achilles heel.

But i'm sure mr squat is so smart that he wouldn't have told them about his upbringing in a crackhouse. So perhaps they can't ID him.

mr squat sounds like he is very versatile. He can put up a good act when he needs to kiss ass. and he'll blow you off at all other times. That's the American way.

At least he recognizes that scores and stats are not the ONLY factors needed to move ahead in the game. If he showed his cockiness at his interviews, do you think he would get any acceptances.......

play on, playa.

But here's the clincher.

Either he's as extraordinary as he says he is, and the adcoms can recognize him off the bat...

or he has to admit that there are others that they may confuse him with.

And he's not so special.

Either that, or he has to admit of his trolling ways....

🙄

anyone care for a sarcasm dectector?

SnS,

If you were so "private" about yourself, you wouldn't have even posted.

Keep it up though, this is funny ****

hey S&S

Didn't you just publish another paper in JAMA? pretty impressive to do another first-author paper, at your age (is this 3 first-author papers already?) - you are at the head of a big movement in colorectal research. Keep it up and you might squeeze out another big one before you graduate!

congratulations!
