Hello,

I am going to be doing an elective rotation in anesthesiology, and I wanted to know if you have any suggestions on which book to buy. Thanks in advance.

During my Anesthesiology rotation, I snagged a free copy of "Clinical Anesthesia Procedures of the MGH" by Hurford et al. It's a fabulous text, and had I not gotten I free one, I'd have bought it. It's small enough that you can stick it in your white coat - VERY handy for downtime in the OR.

Have a blast - anesthesia is a lot of fun.

Cheers,
