Hey y'all, I'm taking the STEP 1 in 3 weeks minus 2 days and I was wondering what a "good score" on qbank is. I do problems randomly and my range is usually 65-80, probably with an average of 71%. I really wish to break a 230 at least. My first aid is jam packed with Kaplan stuff and I'm definitely going to try to read it as many times as possible. Basically, what is the threshold for passing, and then for doing well on the exam. I know I sound really trivial but i'm like in total limbo now.

Also, is it worth going over QBANK twice?

I went through Qbank about 1.5 times. Definitely worth going through every question at least once and doing repeats won't hurt.

With your average it's extremely likely that you will pass and 230 is doable. I got over 240 with a high 70's average.

How about just passing? I am scoring in the low 60s and freaking out that I won't pass the USMLE. I am taking the exam in less than 2 weeks and have only done 35% of the Qbank. Any advice!?!?

I wouldn't worry too much, anything in the 60s is fine and you should be able to pass w/out a problem

Finish Qbank.

Kaplan says 55-65% is passing Step 1 (depending on the difficulty of the questions you get).

Your signature says MSI and you're taking step 1.
