What is considered late for interviews?

Hi all,

I currently have two interviews that I scheduled a few weeks ago. However, my professors just uploaded the class syllabus (syllabi?) and i noticed that exams/labs conflict with my interviews. I may have to reschedule but the earliest interview dates are in early November. Is this considered a late time to interview or does it not really matter. What do you guys think I should do?

I already contacted my teachers and they said it would be considered a "drop" for an exam and I don't want to have to do that if I could just reschedule for a later date without it hurting my chances.

Did you ask your professor if you could take the exam earlier? Did you tell them your situation?

Yeah I did, he said that I would have to drop the exam and then my final would be worth 50% of my grade.

That sucks! Call the schools and see what else they have available before November. It doesn't hurt to ask.
