Hi everyone,

I'm sorry if I'm asking my questions in the wrong place.

I had a cardiovascular stress test done, and I called my doctor's office for my results. I didn't speak to my doctor directly. The person who took my call said my doctor ordered this time a nuclear stress test with medicine without the treadmill, and they said the cardiovascular stress with treadmill was functional capacity, and the person I spoke with said she doesn't know what functional capacity means. I am asking on here to see what does functional capacity means? Does it mean I'm fine? Or does it mean there are problems? If it means I'm fine then why is there a need for a nuclear stress test with medicine?

Could someone please write back and help me understand?

Thank you,
